  • Foot specialist are trained to effectively and safely perform nail cutting and callus removal. We also examine and treat ingrown toe nails, fungal nails and skin infections, warts, and more!

  • Custom orthotics are a medical device that is inserted into shoes to provide optimal support to the structures of our feet and redistribute pressures placed onto muscles and joints.

    Orthotics provide relief and ongoing support to facilitate realignment of the knees, hips and spine. The medical devices act to correct and/or accommodate foot deformities and variety of conditions such as flat arches, hammer toes, plantar fasciitis, bunions, and more!

  • Compression Hosiery are designed to improve blood circulation by aiding the vascular return of blood from the lower extremities to the heart. The medical device comes in different strength levels (mild, moderate and firm support), styles and sizes. Compression garments should be recommended and prescribed by a medical professional.

  • Nail bracing is a treatment for ingrown toe nails that involves a customized brace applied to the nail to slowly correct the curvature.

    Each brace is custom to the patient and requires routine visits for tightening and check-ups. Just like braces for your teeth!

  • Acupuncture is a therapeutic treatment in which small fine tipped needles are inserted into the skin. Goals of this treatment are to increase blood flow, relax muscles and trigger points, help reduce swelling/pain and increase range of motion. Acupuncture can be combined with electrical stimulation for added benefit.

    Acupuncture has been proven to treat a variety of foot related concerns including: plantar fasciitis, metatarsalgia, heel spurs, neuromas, bunion pain, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, and more!

FAQ’s

  • During your first appointment, we ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes early to fill out the new patient intake forms.

    Once in the treatment room, the Chiropodist will do a full history and assessment in order to best understand you and your foot related concerns.

  • No, Chiropody services are not covered by OHIP.

    Many private health insurance plans do cover our services. If in doubt, please contact your insurance company to inquire.

  • An initial assessment is about 30 minutes and is $95.00

    A return visit is between 15-30 minutes and is $75.00

  • No you don’t need a referral for our services. However, your private insurance company may require a referral from your family doctor for the service to be covered.

  • We are able to direct bill some insurance companies for visits only. Please contact the clinic to see if we can direct bill your insurance provider.
